Senior Portrait, Ariatne Class of 2010
I’m SO excited to share the first of our sessions from my travels to Bolivia! I'm truly a lucky girl! I have the most beautiful nieces and nephews in the world. We are in Bolivia and I'm having so much fun taking pictures of my family. This is my niece Ariatne, isn't she pretty? This was shooting a place called Pueblito in Cochabamba, it seems like stays on time, looks like old cochabamba use to look much, much years ago. I hope you enjoy this pictures! To my Ariatne, I love you with all my heart, thank you for letting me take your pictures!!!!!

Meet the York's
I had the pleasure of photographing the York family… Julia, Ashley, and baby Grace. When they arrived at Mayfield Park, their eyes were smiling and they were so excited for their modeling debut! We enjoy the park and the weather was simply perfect for a photo shoot. Mom and Dad, Emily and Trent, were just as excited!
A special thanks to Emily and Trent for allowing me to photograph their family! I had so much fun! May you always be blessed with laughter, good health, and love!

Summer pictures...
I love photographing people because I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own way. The trick is letting them feel comfortable enough to let their true selves shine through. I had a passion for photographing people in not-so-typical locations. This summer our family came to visit from Colorado. I have the most beautiful nephews and nieces and was planning to take some pictures of them some time. As usual, we didn't have the time to do it so below are a few shoots that I have done in the backyard of my house. We managed to have some great fun and take natural photographs... I think they are pretty darn cute!!

David Alan Harvey lecture...
Something incredible happened today. I meet Iga Figula (http://www.jadwigafigula.com)/ a Polish Photographer at St. Thomas More Church. Automatically we become friends, the kind of friends that seems to know each other for years :) She inspired me in every way! Surprisingly for me she has been in my country and other countries where her work is an inspiration for all of us. She invited me to David Alan's lecture and introduced me to another photographer, Lance Rosenfield (http://www.rosenfieldphotography.com/) which was such an AMAZING experience. Thank you Iga!!!!
For those who don't know, David Alan Harvey (b. 1944, in San Francisco, California) is an American photographer. He has been a full member of the prestigious photographic collective Magnum Photos since 1997. He has photographed over 40 articles for National Geographic Magazine, and in 1978 was named Magazine Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association. Harvey is publisher and editor of Burn Magazine, an online publication featuring the work of emerging photographers.

Moving forward :) Training time!!!!!!
I just have to tell you how much I enjoyed taking pictures of these beautiful familes. I felt like this is something that was in my blood and I can't believe it took me so long to realize this is who I am:)
I'm a self taught photographer, but I know Photography is another world with so much to learn. Anyway I decided to take some classes to learn more. I attended the Austin Photo Expo and took the following seminars.
- On location lighting with Randy Kerr and Doug Box
- Lighting with Kevin Ames
- The art of lighting and posing people with Hanson Fog
- Understanding Exposure with Bob Pearson
- Photography Portafolio with Rolando Gomez
- Exploring Digital Black and White with Ken Hubbard
It has been amazing, OMG! These Photographers are inspirational. I learned things that I couldn't even imagine. I think I have been creative but now I have creativity and knowledge. I'm so excited that I can't explain myself. All I can say is that I'm loving it!!!!!
